To access the C21 Live Editor, select one of the menus in the side panel of C21 Live Encoder or C21 Live Control products. Access will be available if the appropriate license is enabled, and the user has the necessary permissions.
Typically, the left-side menu entry point to the editor is labeled "Recordings." Some user profiles may only access this menu directly without displaying the side menu.
The screens in this manual correspond to accessing the editor via a C21 Live Encoder.
The upper tab menu displays two options: "Recordings" and "Editor". The "Editor" tab is only accessible once a recording has been selected in the "Recordings" tab.
The "Recordings" section shows all recordings available on the device being used for editing. For C21 Live Encoder, it will display its own recordings. For C21 Live Control, it will list all recordings from devices added to the control system with the "Show Recordings" option enabled.
Recordings correspond to the names of live broadcasts with this option enabled. Each recording title is displayed in the left menu and can be expanded.
Expanding a recording reveals the quality levels available for that recording.
Recordings appear on a timeline as a horizontal blue bar proportional to the recording time. The bar turns green if recording is ongoing while viewing the "Recordings" menu and remains blue if the capture process is complete.
Selecting a recording from the timeline provides options to edit or download. The trash icon deletes the selected recording.
If you select "Download", a pop-up will appear, allowing you to:
If "Edit" is selected, the user is redirected to the "Editor" tab to make cuts.
The Editor section displays the selected recording. The "Editor" tab will be highlighted in the interface.
